Get to Know the PTU-4200
-Features
Just like its predecessors, the PTU-4200 continues to deliver excellent wireless performance. Its frequency hopping technology keeps interference at bay for a stable, secure connection. The expanded 8x20 frequency selection means more transmitters, more users, and no hassle in large-scale gatherings. Further, an impressive 200ft coverage enables free movement on stage without concerns about dropouts.

Beyond seamless connectivity, it also puts control directly in your hands. Each transmitter is equipped with volume adjustment, a mute function, and frequency selection, allowing you to make on-the-fly changes without reaching for the mixing console.

Of course, it never compromise on sound quality. Phenyx Pro microphones are finely tuned for a balanced three-frequency response, delivering a richer, fuller sound that stays true to your natural tone. Moreover, the cardioid pickup pattern effectively blocks out ambient noise, so your voice comes through with precision and clarity.

-Design
Let’s take a closer look at the PTU-4200. Aside from the front panel, the unit is built with a sturdy metal construction for long-term use. The front panel features an LCD screen for each channel, displaying frequency, AF signal levels, and more, along with individual volume controls for precise adjustments. On the rear panel, the system offers eight XLR outputs and a 1/4" mix out, ensuring effortless integration with various devices.

Now, we turn our focus to the handheld microphone. Its grip section is designed with a matte metal finish, combining an elegant look with durable build. Unscrewing the battery compartment reveals a set button and volume buttons, allowing for convenient remote control.

-Transmitters
A key change in this series is the standardization of transmitters. Previously, the PTU-52 employed the PWH-52/PWB-52 transmitters, while the PTU-5200 required the PWH-5200/PWB-5200, making them incompatible with each other. Now, we've unified the entire lineup—all models, including the new PTU-4200, are fully compatible with the PWH-52 and PWB-52 transmitters. This upgrade prevents confusion when purchasing spare transmitters, enabling easy matching of components across models.

-Accessory
Both the PTU-5200 and PTU-4200 now come with an added accessory—a pair of rack ears (ANTK-RE). With this addition, the full-rack units can be directly mounted onto a rack, requiring only the purchase of our ANTK-FR4A antenna kit for a complete rack setup. Unlike these two models, the half-rack PTU-52 requires the ANTK-HR2A kit for proper rack installation.

-Packaging
Furthering our commitment to sustainability, we've updated the product packaging. Once, we used dual-layer EPE foam as cushioning, providing effective protection but lacking eco-friendliness due to its poor degradability. To address this, we have switched to single-layer molded pulp, which not only fits all components securely but is also more recyclable, reducing environmental impact.

Additionally, our PTU-52 original package included a plastic carrying case, but we found that customers preferred to purchase our PCSE-M aluminum carrying case separately. Therefore, we have discontinued the plastic case to reduce unnecessary waste and provide a more personalized experience.
