I got this to try out with the group I sing with. I set this up with a high dollar sound system and not was I Impressed! The IEM sounded great. We use some high dollar mics and those sounded great in the IEM. Was impressed with the quality and the ease to set up. I was skeptical at first because of the price. Want sure if these would be as good as they are at the price I paid. I would definitely put these up against any of the high dollar mics as their sound quality is amazing. Looking for great mics to start with or mics to replace what you have, believe me you will be IMPRESSED and won't be disappointed.

stereo or mono, noise cancellation. for what you get, its not bad, its not the best but again, look at how much you are paying for what you getrunning in stereo will get you that "hiss when silent" as others have reported but its doable as you wont hear it when sound comes throughracks up nice, transmitter and receiver links up easy. setup on the transmitter is tricky, so read the instructionspersonally i could do without the carrying case and removing this and using regular packaging would bring the price downthe included buds are junk. just get some nice over-the-ears muffs and you should be goodi do recommend this as your first iem over getting a cheaper mono system. once you go stereo, you wont want mono

The PTM-10 in ear monitoring system is a solid piece of equipment. The transmitter is solid. The receiver is light, and while plastic, has a metal clip and is generally well made. The controls on both are easy to use and the backlight is very helpful. I really like the carrying case it comes in, as I plan to not mount it, but it also comes with a rack mount, including mounting accessories. The overall range is good, but was dramatically reduced when line of sight was compromised (wall, obstruction, etc.). The provided headphones are okay and sufficient for basic use, but I would recommend upgrading them for any significant or repeated use. Overall, I am happy with the system and look forward to continuing to use it, both as a live monitor and for studio use.

I lead a large 17-piece jazz band. We’re a community band with a very limited budget. Our PA is rather simple with two main speakers, and two inputs for vocals and keys. As you can imagine, a 17-piece band can be quite loud, which is problematic for our vocalist. With the main speakers doubling as vocal monitor, the struggle for the vocalist to hear herself sing is quite real.I was offered a chance to test the Phenyx Pro PTM-10 In Ear Stereo monitoring system. First, as with all Phenyx Pro products, the packaging is very nice. The PTM-10 system is housed in its own hard plastic carrying case, no need to carry around the retail package like some other products. The package includes the transmitter, receiver, antennae, batteries, earbuds, and rack mounting kit. Everything you’d need to use this product right out of the box.SETUP/TEST: Setup is extremely easy. I plugged in the transmitter, put batteries in the receiver (Bodypack), connected the transmitter to the PA, and voila, I could hear anything coming from the PA through the ear buds. The manual is nicely written. I navigated through all of the settings on the bodypack and transmitter. Changing Groups and Channels is very easy. I ran the system in stereo mode which was very nice. I did not play with the balance much as it wasn’t needed in our setup. The audio coming through ear buds was very clean. Being able to mute the body pack and adjust the volume with the body pack is a nice feature.QUALITY: The quality of all most Phenyx Products is very good. The transmitter unit is made of metal, not cheap plastic on PTM-10. Including the rubber feet to keep the unit from sliding is a nice touch. The Bodypack that came with the unit is made of plastic, but it doesn’t feel cheap. The buttons on the bodypack are responsive and very "clicky", you know you pressed the button. A nice feature is having the ability to lock the settings on the body pack so there’s no accidental changing of settings. Overall, the PTM-10 is a well.

First, this unit is well built. So whether you’re suing it for practice or an actual event, it’s definitely travel ready. And comes with a nice carrying case, too! Second having the ability to monitor is stereo is a plus and for the price you can’t beat it. It’s certainly a great “bang for buck” option for those looking to enter the wireless IEM’s for gigs like myself.

I recently was able to check out the PTM-10, and I was VERY impressed! I have gotten a number of different products from Phenyx Pro and have not been disappointed yet. I like that it comes in its own carrying case (I own the hard case they sell for the wireless systems I bought, and that is great as well), which I appreciate as I don't have to form any new foam to carry it to and from gigs. It also comes with adapters if you want to mount them in a rack, but for this particular case I kept it loose.Our church uses Sennheiser IEMs for our Praise and Worship Team (whom I have been working with for about a year now), and I think the PTM-10 actually rivals them! With the Sennheiser, there are "dead spots" on our stage that can throw our team off from time to time, but with the PTM-10 I did not have that problem at all. During rehearsal, I was able to walk all over the stage with only one place where I heard any phasing, but that did not drop the signal at all. (For distance reference, the third picture is from our engineer's station where the transmitter sat.)The only downside that I found was in the initial setup. I did not have the manual handy, so it took a bit to get any sound to the receiver, and when it did I only had the right side. We did get it up and running after a few minutes, but having it default to a mono signal might be more helpful out of the box.Overall, I truly enjoyed using this unit and will be using it again as my go-to over the Sennheiser and even the Shure unit that I have!

The Phenyx Pro PTM-10 is an amazing In-Ear Wireless System. For the last 4 years, I've been using a Sennheiser In-Ear System, which has been the industry standard go-to for wireless IEMS.The Phenyx Pro performed as well as the Sennheiser which is 5x the cost with a few minor areas that could use improvement. I've used the Phenyx system over the last month without any dropouts or interference. The system I'm running is in the 900mhz range and it delivers clear and great sound quality. Some of my bandmates were using the Sennheiser system in the 500mhz range and experienced some dropouts and static, it's known the 500mhz range is a lot more crowded. If you find a clear channel you should be good to go with either system. Once you set the channel syncing the belt packs to the transmitter takes seconds and is seamless.One area that could be improved on the Phenyx Pro System is the ability to do an auto scan for a clear channel, this is not a current function of the system, and as a user, you need to try different channels till you find a clear one. The Sennheiser has this feature. I didn't have an issue finding a clear channel, but this would be a great feature to implement.The bodypack on the Phenyx Pro system is plastic making it lighter weight. The build quality feels sturdy. I would love it if in future versions the bodypack casing was made of metal as this gives more peace of mind regarding its durability and a more pro feel.I love that the PTM-10 is stereo and it's one of the few in this price range with this ability. Having the option of a stereo mix is great to bring more depth and realism to the IEM mix. I'm currently using the system in mono mode, and panning the belt packs Left and Right so that I have two separate mono mixes per transmitter. This allows me to run 8 separate mono mixes and fit 4 transmitters in a 2U space. I like this system so much I'm running it for everyone in the band now.One note on panning L/R there is a very slight bleed, I mean very.

This system is absolutely everything you could ever want in a stereo iem. Let's address the concerns first. I added $3 metal clips that I used permanant double sided tape. Added it to the middle of the back as seen in the picture. This makes the belt clip bullet proof. Second is, I replaced the ear pieces with a quality iem from Phenyx pro. What a difference!Instructions are clear. Perform as good as anything else I have ever used. Any issues were solved with reading instructions or the forums. I ordered 4 more after using these. Packaging is great as it comes in a basic plastic box. This company is very responsive to email / support. I use these for several rock bands. They buy their own ear pieces!

1. This product is well worth the money! I used it to control my stage monitors and it worked flawlessly.2. I used this to feed lines to an on-stage alternate actor after the principle became ill.I would recommend this iem system to anyone who needs one or two in ear ear monitors!

Shipping: Just shy of 48 hours.Packaging/Boxing: This is my 4th item from Phenyx Pro, and each time I'm impressed with their overall packaging. This unit comes with it's own pastic/foamed carrying case though - which is awesome for use when not in a rack unit - especially for storing and transporting to gigs. Plastic feels a little flimsy on the closure - but I don't plan to rip it open like a gorilla so I think it will be just fine. lol.Unit: Solid and compact. I LOVE that it comes with all the hardware to rack mount as well as the BNC cable to reroute the antenna to the front.Cons:1. Bodypack doors seem very flimsy. I anticipate them breaking.As for the PTM-10 system, my first impression is that it is an impressive little unit. It sounded great and has some decent features, like stereo/mono inputs with combo jacks, and the ability to pad the input signal.This unit will be used by our drummer so he can tweak his own mix from a soundcraft ui24r.We did a thorough test with this unit during a 4 hour practice over the weekend. Our drummer said the sound quality was great and outpreformed our previous IEM system.

Alright I've had this IEM system for a couple weeks now, and I have to say I'm REALLY impressed with it.Up to this point I've been using the PTM-11 system at home, and I've had great luck with it, but that one is a mono system, whereas this PTM-10 is stereo...You wouldn't think you'd notice much, until you listen to something with stereo reverbs or delays, then the difference is HUGE.The build quality of this unit is very good, it feels solid, and I would expect this to perform well under gigging conditions.The front mounted headphone jack with separate volume control is a nice touch, especially if you have it sitting on your desk like I do.I really like how easy it is to select different groups & channels, and then it shows the updated frequency on the screen, which is SUPER helpful if you're trying to sort out wireless gremlins between units.The syncing between the transmitter is seamless & easy...and regarding the transmitter, it is plastic, but the build quality seems good, I've dropped it once and it seems no worse for wear. The sound seems to be very full and “open”, with an emphasis on the upper mids & highs (see gripe below)The PTM-10 comes with a pretty durable case AND with everything you need to rack mount it which is great from a unit in this price range...even with my high-end guitar wireless I had to buy cables to rack mount it.Now, the handful of gripes I have (they are minor).I'm a bass player & I use this system for silent practice monitoring at home, in my opinion this unit is a little lacking in the lower frequencies, and it didn't matter what buds I was using, whether it was the ones that came with the unit, or my high end ones that are used with my bands top dollar IEM system.Another minor gripe is, yes, this unit has XLR combo jack inputs (which are great), but it doesn't have outputs...even my PTM-11 has outputs, but the PTM-11's ins & outs are only 1/4”, so it has some limitations too.And lastly, there is a bit more upper register “hiss” com.

IEM Phenyx Pro PTM 10. Great product that works right out of the box and won't break the bank. I would propose two things to buyers: better earbuds and a pouch for the bodypack. Now, what about customer service? I purchased the PTM 10 in November 2022; the product had a 12-month warranty, and I had an additional 6-month promotional warranty. I encountered a problem with the bodypack and contacted Phenyx Pro Support about it. I didn't expect much support after using the product for over a year, yet their representative sent me a whole new bodypack with no trouble and assured me that these guys stand by their product. If you're a professional musician or simply someone who wants to try IEM you won't be disappointed.
Good quality sound, good range, stereo option.....
