Introducing the PDP-1/2 Wireless Microphone Systems
Phenyx Pro excitedly announces the latest addition to our Digital Portable (PDP) Series – the PDP-1/2 wireless microphone systems now featuring a bodypack, making them more versatile on various occasions. Explore our blog to discover the user-friendly, compact design of these digital wireless mics, available at an affordable price.
As 2023 draws to a close and the festive season approaches, Phenyx Pro is excited to present a special “gift” that will make connections through music during these memorable days even easier. This December, we’ve expanded our Digital Portable (PDP) Series, specifically, PDP-1/2 wireless microphone seires by adding a bodypack transmitter, rounding out this special microphone family designed for portable audio solutions, ideal for on-the-go performances. Apart from its compact design, the PDP Series stands out for its affordable high quality, a result of innovative digital circuitry technology. This advancement has been particularly well-received by DJs, hosts, karaoke enthusiasts, vloggers, church bands, and others hosting small-scale events. In this blog, let’s delve deeper into the features and benefits of the PDP wireless microphone series.
Why Digital Portable
The advantages of digital wireless systems are explained in our previous blog post, Introducing the PDP-1/2 Wireless Microphone. Digital circuit systems can rival their analog counterparts in terms of sound quality, signal security, and spectrum efficiency due to the discrete, low-intensity nature of the binary digital signal. Now, the PDP Series allows you to experience the charm of digital systems at an affordable cost.
Compared to frequency-hopping UHF series (PTU-52/5200 wireless microphone systems), the PDP wireless microphone system utilizes digital sound transmission to deliver a more accurate and cleaner signal, ensuring crystal-clear pure audio, secure signals, and enhanced scalability for a diversified audio experience. It also retains the same instant frequency selection while offering a more compact and portable design for easy setup and transportation. The series now features two configurations: the single-channel PDP-1 and the dual-channel PDP-2, each available in both 900MHz and 800MHz frequency options to suit your needs. It also includes two types of transmitters to choose from: handheld and bodypack transmitters, increasing your flexibility in choosing the right tools for different events.
Features
Robust sounding experience. The PDP Portable Wireless Microphone Series boasts a 48 kHz/24-bit high-resolution sampling rate and a minimal 2.5ms delay in digital audio transmission. This advanced technology ensures the reproduction of crisp, pure sound, accurately capturing your original voice without the distortion and noise artifacts common in inferior analog wireless microphone systems.
Ensured multiset freedom. The portable microphone series purposely deploys tunable 900MHz/800MHz UHF frequency to avoid congested 500MHz and 2.4GHz. Plus, the digital circuitry can effectively operate multiple wireless microphone systems at the same time (up to 15 sets for the 900MHz-band version and up to 5 sets for the 800MHz-band version) without overstepping another RF’s real estate. You can enjoy up to 200ft/60m coverage when using the unit in the proper line-of-sight distance.
Plug-and-go hookup. Both PDP-1 and PDP-2 configurations feature automatic syncing for hassle-free setup. Simply turn on the receiver, activate the auto-tuned transmitters, and connect the mini receiver with its 1/4” TS connector to output the sound.
Long-lasting portability. The mini receiver is rechargeable and equipped with 1500mAh battery capacity. It can generate 12 hours of party time for PDP-1 (single-channel version) and 5.5 hours of party time for PDP-2 (dual-channel version). The universal Type-C charging port provides quick and easy charging anywhere at any time.
Versatile and Flexible. The handheld microphone, with its classic dynamic cardioid capsule, selectively captures your original voice while minimizing background noise. The bodypack transmitter adds versatility, allowing high-quality sound transmission through a headset or lapel mic via its 3-pin mini XLR jack. These options cater to a variety of settings, from karaoke to small-scale live performances.
One-tap control. Both the handheld mic and bodypack transmitter feature easy-to-use controls. A single tap lets you mute the microphone or select your preferred frequency, making operation seamless and user-friendly.
Convenient and elegant. The PDP series features a lightweight, compact design is flexible to carry around for your on-the-go performance. Its mini receiver, handheld mic, and bodypack are not only durably constructed with metal but also feature a sleek, titanium silver finish, blending durability with elegance.
