I wanted protective foam for my FIFINE 699 microphone. Found some selling for $10 for a single one.Those are $9 for five!!They are quite thin and come vacuum packed. But with some stretching they fit on the FIFINE 699 and you want some protection for guest microphones on a podcast. Good foam covers to fit any microphone.They may be "too big" for some microphones. For example, my picture shows an SM58 for size comparison.Audio through them is like any other foam windscreen - it helps tame plosives and does adjust sound accordingly. So use EQ to change the outcome in the PA.

I have used many windscreens over the years, and these are far more impressive than others. I was struggling with a Pastor who was occasionally having issues with plosives when speaking which was very distracting to the audience. After adding the PTA-WDS5 Windscreen, I did not notice any plosives. Well done, Phenyx Pro!!!

These dense foam covers fit my wireless karaoke mics perfectly snug. They’re much better quality than the foam covers that originally came with my mics. Great upgrade!

I ran warm water over it and gently squeezed out the excess moisture using paper towels. Within a few minutes, the pop filter returned to its proper form and was ready for use.The foam cover fits the Phenyx PTU-52B Handheld Mic incredibly well—it’s snug and secure, providing a perfect fit that doesn’t slip off during use. This is important as it ensures the filter performs as intended without any disruptions.As for sound quality, I couldn’t detect any noticeable muffling or reduction in audio clarity when using the filter. I was asked to test and review the Phenyx Pro foam mic windscreens. All I can say is they do what they’re designed to do, they prevent the unwanted noises from being picked up by the mic.Quality:These foam mic covers are quite large and made of thick foam. I’d say they’d be best suited for large wireless handheld mics and not smaller wired mics like the Shure SM-58. I used the foam covers with the Phenyx Pro PDP-2 handheld mic and the covers fit easily and look nice.Value:The package comes with 5 foam covers individually sealed. I’d recommend taking them out of the package and let them sit for a couple days before use. This will give them time to expand and take shape. I did not wash the foam covers I received, but it’s also recommended you wash them in warm soapy water and let them air dry.Overall:These are a pack of 5 windscreens at a reasonable price. They do the job and are a great value.

A good microphone windscreen that helps with “P” popping. These come flat with a small opening at the bottom. They do stretch to fit different microphone shapes and sizes. It is pictured on a Shure Beta 58A.These are inexpensive screens that do that job. The quality is fair but good for the price.

Got these mic windscreens for some wireless and handheld mics that I use. They come vacuumed sealed in a box. I tried one on a sure SM 58 mic and it fits rather large. They work best on wireless battery operated mics which tend to be slightly larger than your standard xlr mic like the sure or sennheiser mics. It takes a bit to mold it and shape it into a round screen. They stay flattened for a while due to packaging but not a deal breaker. The foam material looks ok and is not too thick or not too thin.

These mic covers fit perfectly over my Kithouse mics and are much denser than the basic spongy Kithouse ones that came with my mics. Solid upgrade for most standard mic sizes, reducing breath noise and hard consonants while presenting and singing. The denser, more durable foam also makes me worry less about my microphone bell getting damaged or bent when someone inevitably "drops the mic" during karaoke. The 5 pack makes these less than $2 a sleeve which is a good value for the better quality and function they provide.

Perfect fit. I saw a very worn out mic cover at a meeting this week. It was long past it's expiration date. I pulled that one off and this one fit just fine. It is a little loose on the narrow style microphones but for typical public address systems this worked out just fine. Washable. No observable manufacturing defects.

I recently picked up a karaoke system. After our first session, I realized that we needed some "pop filter" windscreens for the four microphones. This set from Phenyx was just what I needed!Although sealed in plastic and compactly packed flat, these were ready to use right out of the box. No strange smells to air out, and they expanded out into their oval shape after I installed them on the microphones. They worked as expected on my initial testing.The microphone covers are about 3.5 inches high and 2.25 inches across, at the widest part. The inner diameter of the opening for the microphone is about 1.5 inches. While the end of my microphones was only about 1-3/8 inches in diameter, these foam covers fit snugly on the slightly-larger microphone body without interfering the with the microphone controls. And the five-pack leaves me with a spare cover for when a replacement is needed.

Works well generically for standard vocal microphone. I used them on Shure mikes and stretched them to fit. These came flat and opened like a "pita" pocket. They're very substantial and will protect the microphone bell just fine. The foam is denser than the higher priced models I've used and promises to be more durable. This did not affect the sound at all.I received 5 in the packet will put them to use on two Shure vocal microphones and a Sennheiser cordless vocal mike.

I know that these are designed for a specific brand, but I feel like they will be a universal fit for a lot of mics. I put them on my Behringer XM 1800S mics and they fit just fine.It's a simple product with a simple use at a good price.

These foam windscreens easily fit my Sure SM58 and my other microphones of the same style. I read other reviews before ordering, one which mentioned tearing easily so I used care when installing and removing the cover from several of my mics. I didn't feel like the cover was that fragile but as I said I took care.I soaked the cover before using it and did witness the water turning grey in the sink. I used slightly warm water and rinsed several times until the water looked fairly clean. After gently squeezing out as much water as I could, I used a rag made from an old towel to roll the cover up and squeezed it some more. More black dye came out of the cover onto the rag. I would not recommend you using any cloth or towel you value to do that as maybe the stains are permanent. I let the cover dry over night not wanting to have any residual water affect any of my mics.I used it in a 4 hour open mic/jam session and it worked as well as other covers I've previously used that were cheaper, thinner, and more porous looking. This cover is thick and more professional looking than the 3 for a dollar covers I've been using. I'm pleased with the product and would recommend it.I turned the cover inside out and I believe it could also work that way for slimmer microphones that don't have the globe ends but rather a more tube like end like a Sure SM137.

For what they are, I expect the price to be a little better. I have several wireless Phenyx mics and they fit perfectly. They come in a vaccum sealed bag though and are totally flattened, a couple had noticeable marks in the foam or deep indents. Once i managed to get them on the puffed back up. Will see after a while if the crease goes away. They work really well in reducing harsh P and S sounds and some wind noise. Great for our wedding gigs. Minus 2 stars for bad pa kaging and value for the price ratio.
