Phenyx Pro continues to deliver consistent professional quality at an affordable price point, and the PAS-227X is a perfect example. Designed as an antenna combiner system, it’s exactly what I needed to streamline and strengthen my wireless setup.I’ll be using the PAS-227X with my PTM-10 in-ear monitor system for my 4-piece metal band, and just from testing it out, it's already proving to be a great addition to our rig. The build is solid, the sound quality is great, and this will ensure a clean and stable signal on stage. For the price, it’s hard to beat the level of quality Phenyx Pro delivers.

So when they finally released the 227X, already I'm like.... i want them paddles! So we got them last week, in my excitement, I kinda installed it wrong so we struggled a bit, did some research. It could use a better instruction manual... but then again, almost everyone uses youtube now adays, so *shrug* on that one. I was initially getting bad signals and interference but as I further learned how to install it right, now for the last 2 weeks, we've been having clean IEM signals and no drop outs. Before I used to have extra long earphone cables so i can stick out my transmitter box in the open. My drummer had to keep his box outside the drum shield just for better reception. LOL. Now we love the paddles, I can keep my transmitter box in my pocket or back pocket and still get clear sound and no more hiss or interference on my ears.Last but not least, it came with an impressive hardshell case and all the addons that it came with. Cables for the antennas, an iron cast stand... very cool.Thanks guys for your hard work on these gear and make it very affordable!

I bought the pas 227x to combine antennae from a Phenyx Pro PTM 22 and PTM 10. As you can see in the video, I would've had 5 antennae attached to my rack. Not only would this clean up the set up, but it vastly improved the range and sound clarity of both systems! The pas 227x is super simple to set up and use. I did have to buy the extra rack mount kit ($27 on Phenyx pro) but it mounted just fine. The functionality is basically set and forget. You will want to start with the read out at 00, then is you need more RF signal increase the number. Be careful, you can send to much and overload the packs. They can distort or sound very muffled if you do this. I took the unit downtown Nashville to test it live on stage. The club isn't huge, but I could go to the back of the room with no drop out and everything was clear, and I had no dropouts!!One thing to mention are the connections on the pas227x. They are a BNC connector. The PTM 22 connected just fine, but my PTM 10 is an older unit. It has a TNC, screw on connection. So back to Phenyx pro. I found a TNC female to BNC male adapter and it works great! I am now able to use all three units with the pas 227x. The pas 227x will also work with other manufactures, but you have to check the connection type. BNC will plug right up, anything else look for an adapter and plug it in.This is a fantastic value for the amount of money its being sold for. There isn't anything even close to it!! I'm super happy I ordered and look forward to using it for a long time!!If you need a full set up and review video, I recommend Scott Uhl's video of this unit on YouTube. Easy to set up and works well with my Sennheiser IEM units. Rack mount hardware would have been appreciated instead of the carrying case but that's a small nitpick from an overall great product.

strong unit. got it on sale. only disappointment is it didn't come with rack ears. I own several Phenyx Pro IEM transceivers, they all came with rack ears. Makes no sense this item does not. It literally is designed to combine antennas from IEM systems. I would argue most systems, like mine, are racked. oh well. That knocked off one star.

Just got my unit and am waiting to update my IEM receiver systems to integrate with this. So stoked!

My second purchase of these antenna. Works perfectly.

Finally got to try it out this last weekend, it worked flawlessly. We used it for 2 days at outdoor events, never dropped once. I was thrilled it worked so well. My only knock on it would be the power supply, I wished it was a screw on type power connector or just an IEC connection. I will be buying another in the future.

This system works very good for what it is designed to do, which is to combine antennas from multiple IEM transmitters to clean up signals and reduce/eliminate interference between them.

I have two PTM 33 in-ear transmitters. Each has two antennas so I should be able to use this with them to get to the combined 1 antenna. Since the PTM 33s do four channels each and have two antennas each I assume each antenna is handling 2 frequencies. Would this handle all 8 frequencies from the four inputs? Also I’m not sure my venue is big enough to warrant this but I think I could get better antenna placement with it. What is the transmission pattern on the paddle antenna. If I know the angular width of the pattern it should help with verifying I could cover the whole width of the stage from the distance to where I’d put the antenna.

Your description seems to be backwards.. It doesn't have 4 antenna inputs, it has 1. It has 4 antenna outputs. It's not an antenna combiner, it's an antenna splitter. It takes the single paddle antenna and splits it 4 ways to feed 4 iem systems. Am I incorrect?
