PTU-7000-4H | Quad UHF Wireless Microphone System w/ Auto-Scan

I bought one 7000-4H, one 7000-2H2B, and a PAS-225X antenna distribution system for our church’s youth group and for outdoor occasions. They are being used weekly in the youth and I’ve used them once in the city park at an event. So far so good. I am used to using upper end Sennheiser mics, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the sound quality of these. I’ve heard I slight distortion a time or 2 at the park event with my singer with the strongest voice at peak volume of a song, but it could have been the channel peaking at that point, as we had virtually no time to practice before performance time.
The headsets with the 7000-2H2B sound good too. The Youth Pastor uses one every Wednesday night and really sounds great.
The antenna distribution system works great! At the park we had a distance of around 100ft from antennas to the stage with no issue at all.

Overall, I’m very happy with this setup and I recommend this system to anyone.

Received the Phenyx Pro PTU-7000 last week and immediately installed the receiver in my rack. Already used the mics at our band practice and they were outstanding. My band mates love them as do I. Looking forward to using them at our next gig. Thank you Phenyx Pro.

The quality is great, sound quaility is impressive, easy to setup and use. Works well and functionality is is easy.

I watched a few reviews on this mic and was honestly a little hesitant. I’ve always used Shure mics but didn’t want to use them for karaoke. Did my first show last night and the sound was amazing. Really couldn’t tell the difference between these and my 58’s. I would purchase again.

Through my usage of the PTU-7000, I have been very impressed. For the price, you get an amazing system. It is incredibly intuitive for anyone that has used and sort of wireless gear as well as for anyone else. Though some might need to read the included instructions for a full understanding. Phenyx Pro was kind enough to send me this product to have me test it. Anyone looking for a budget microphone system has to look no further. They will have reliable wireless microphones for an amazing price. For a product of this price to have wireless scanning is absolutely amazing and a feature I would encourage every company to include. And having not only 4 XLR outputs for each mic (see picture 8), but also having a mix out that utilizes the volume knobs on the front (see picure 9) as a mixer is an excellent touch. This makes it super simple for someone with minimal to no audio experience able to have wireless mics and mixing capabilities without an excess mixer. I would give this product a rating of a solid 8.5/10.

Super Easy Setup. The auto scan feature is great, The IR channel setting is flawless, The build quality is solid, The transmission is clear.These mics are metal and have some weight to them. The rack unit is metal and very well labeled.They are very clear and sound great!! They also have great range, going to the back of the venue is no problem.Batteries last a long time You cannot find a better mic at this price. If you are apprehensive, don't be. These are the real deal.I would choose these over a set of Shure wireless mics any day given the cost, quite impressive honestly!I recommend this wireless microphone and receiver system for any Band, Church, or DJ.Great value and quality without spending at least three times the money.It is everything you need even for a pro set up.Phenyx Pro, you hit it out of park again..

You can’t beat the channel/$ ratio with this thing. Capsule quality sounds very similar to an SM58. Overall solid quality. 4 channels in 1RU. If you are more focused on bulletproof reception go with the PTU-2U with true diversity.

As a church worship leader, finding a reliable and high-quality microphone system is essential for ensuring that our services run smoothly and that the message as well as the music is clearly conveyed. Sure we could stick to the wired Beta 58a Mics that we’ve been using for years but across our team from Pastors to worship leaders, everyone was requesting a wireless solution to allow for a much more free flowing move the Holy Spirit so that we may be able to also physically move around as we worshipped. Most other wireless systems from Big names such as Shure and Sennheiser are a fortune for our small Church, but the Phenyx Pro PTU-7000-4H has been such a huge blessing both in quality and price.The mics as well as the receiver both are made of a solid metal construction that feels professional and durable. The mics themselves are extremely comfortable to hold with a sleek and unobtrusive design. They were a tiny bit heavier than bigger name branded wireless mics but had no effect on actual use.The range of the PTU-7000-4H covers not only our whole space, but even had no issue picking up signal even from our parking lot. We’ve had no problems with signal dropouts or interference, even when moving around the stage or interacting within our congregation. This reliability has made a noticeable difference in the smooth flow of our services and even in our bible studies.The battery life easily lasts through multiple services and rehearsals on a single set of batteries. As long as those using the microphones remember to turn them off when they aren’t needed, you shouldn’t have any issue. I’ve had these mics for almost two weeks now and haven’t had to change the batteries in any of them. It reduces the need for frequent battery changes and ensures that the microphones are always ready to be used.My favorite part of the PTU-7000-4H was the setup process. This has been the easiest set of wireless mics to set up. The automatic frequency scanning and synchronization are incred.

Honestly, what could you ask for that this unit doesn’t already provide? Quiet, easy to setup and very solidly built. The mics are clear and transparent and the signal is flawless. I love how easy it is to use and the signal strength is top notch!

I was skeptical on these bc of the price until I saw a live band using them. They sounded great, So I bought the 4 mic unit for my karaoke set up. The mics are built well and have a Shure SM58 eq to then. You gotta keep the mics close to your mouth, but thats great for karaoke since people like to hold the mics everywhere but in front of their mouths. This is the first mic that I actuallt have to raise the highs on vocals, but I have them dialed in. Anyhow, they work so well that two bandmates ordered two more sets for identical karaoke/acoustic rigs. No regrets at all.

The Phenyx Pro PTU-7000-4H is a very robust microphone set. This set is perfect for karaoke and small church worship team applications. At the time of this writing, the affordable price means you are paying about $75 per handheld transmitter. This is an excellent value for some microphones with nice rich sound and a sturdy feel.The sound quality is excellent on the microphones. The tone is rich and deep. It has a very pronounced deep sound (proximity effect) when the microphone is about 2 inches from the mouth. Pulling back 1-2 inches creates a very natural voice reproduction and even sound.The pickup pattern is very tight and the microphones have very nice off-axis rejection of sound which lends to less feedback when used with speaker systems. The microphones have no loose internal parts when shaken and produce very little handling noise. With a high-pass filter, it can be almost eliminated entirely.The transmitters are very heavy and the microphone grilles are very sturdy. I would equate the build quality, at least externally, to something like the Shure SM58. I did notice some food or other substance on one of the transmitters. I included a picture here. It took some elbow grease and isopropyl alcohol to remove this substance from the microphone grill.The receiver has a lovely black brushed aluminum face and sturdy metal case. It also contains built-in rack-mountable ears, but also contains rubberized feet that you can put on the bottom of the unit if you are using on a tabletop surface. It comes in a nice cardboard box with soft, yet sturdy foam and a nice handle that can likely be used for transport until a more permanent solution is available.The unit can be used without a mixer using the summed ? connection and by setting the volume gain knobs on the front of the unit. So using a powered speaker or a simple PA alone would allow you to have 4 mixed microphones. Adding a mixer to add a high-pass filter, some light EQ and reverb and these microphones produce so.

I was excited the moment the PTU-7000-4H arrived in its sleek black box to my door step - Once opened you notice a well packaged product in plenty of protection to make sure components are in tack and you’ll not have to worry about damaged goods - The nice features of the 7000 that are worth your money include 1. Auto scan 2. 4x40 adjustable UHF 3. IR synchronization 4. Long wireless range - All of these features are conveniently packed in 1u rack set up with metal ears so it will stand ip to wear and tear if taking out on the road - The microphones themselves are made of strong metal material that you can trust will stand the test of time too - The gain structure on the 7000 for the microphones make for a smooth dialed in tone - I was running at 3/4 and using my PA to pump out the extra volume and the tone was incredible for my voice - I was amazed in the pick up pattern of the microphone itself - Being a long time shure sm58 user and the microphones that come with the 7000 hold up to the industry standard - if you are reading this and are the fence about going wireless with phenyx pro please don't hesitate to purchase the 7000 - you wont regret it

Bought this mic system for my 4 piece band. The mics sounded good and performed well!Sound checked all the mics before the gig, everything sounded great! These mics sound very close to Shure 58’s… Into the second song the lead singers mic started to crackle… I handed him another mic to finish the set. After the set I searched for a new channel and paired the mic. The mic worked great the rest of the gig!My take away!! Well worth the price, but you must have a backup mic ready to go in case it drops frequency.

This wireless is solid. Prices is the most important thing but the range and working feel like a Shure unit to me. Best wireless so far.

4th knob for volume adjustment goes further than the first 3 “almost clock wise”, the first three are normal. The package arrived with missing one rubber foot sticker but that does not bother me because I am mounting it to a rack. Overall, sound quality is really good.

This is my 2nd PTU7000 system, easy to use excellent performance with great sound quality i also own Sennheiser and Shure mics and in all honesty theres very little in it when it comes down to it .

Love the setup. Some slight handling noise which is noticeable at times but by no means not a gamechanger. I do also wish that two extension wires were included for front mounting the antennas, I didn’t realize I needed to purchase those until arrival. Overall, very happy about this purchase. For the price point there’s nothing as high of quality and as simple to setup.
