The mics and bases are solid and the shape of the mic base even allows one to place a base on an angled lectern without slipping off. Operation of the mic bases was so simple and my users loved the ease of use and styling. The red/green LED ring is an added bonus and signifies when the mic is on or off.In addition to the mics, bases, batteries, power supply, rack mountable receiver/antenna, the box also includes a TS ? cable and a ? to 1/8 adapter to fit almost any output need. The rear of the receiver has a single mix output of all mics as well as separate XLR outputs for each mic. Included instructions are easy to follow and printed in several languages.Usage. After connecting the mics to their bases and installing the batteries, the units were ready to go. Each mic comes with a foam cover to reduce plosive sounds and also provide a stylish look to the mics. Mic necks are gooseneck and are easily adjustable for different heights. We are using the system for our monthly conference of our charity organization. Everyone who used it was pleased and it will now be our standard set up going forward. The overall sound quality was good with no noticeable dropouts or interference for the duration of its use. The first thing I noticed about this item before I even opened the box is that it is heavy. Once I opened the box, I realized the weight seems to be on the 8 microphone bases, which is a good thing because adding a little weight to the base can prevent the mics from being scooted around or knocked over by accident if someone bumps them with books, binders, etc. Individually, they are not too heavy. Just enough weight to keep them stable. The bases are also a bit bigger than I expected, but I like the size. Not too big, but like the weight, big enough to be stable. Attach the mic to the base and you have a very nice looking unit.I love the noticeable, yet subtle green light around the mic when transmitting and red light when the mic is muted as well as having a mute button on the mic base.Always love when the receiver is rack mountable. It is also very nice looking and learning all the functions is pretty easy. Changing channels is a breeze.How do they sound? Very nice. They pic up well, sound clean and the transmission signal is also clean and clear.This will be great for many uses, including depositions, board meetings, panel discussions, podcasts and YouTube videos (especially with one or more guests)Overall, am excellent system.One improvement that I would suggest is adding an XLR output on each mic base so you have the option to use each mic as a wired mic in the even that you have interference or for some other reason do not want to use wireless.Definitely recommend this system.

wow! That's the best word I have to describe my overall feeling about this microphone system. I have a large 10 chair conference table 4 down each side and one on each end. Large TV mounted on the wall at the end of the table and we regularly do some zoom meetings on that. This has worked really well during our zoom meetings It has also worked really well to record our board meeting minutes when we do our corporate meetings.We set it up so that each chair has a microphone in front of it and probably the part I love the most is that the receiver is rack mounted. I can't stand having electronic components where the receivers and the pieces are just sitting on tables and shelves all over the place So finally somebody realized they needed to put this stuff in racks and that could not make me happier.Each microphone connected and stayed connected to the base. The audio was crisp clean and free of any static. It was easy to use, Easy to setup, And has been easy to connect to different computers and softwares.The range we have is about 20 feet from the microphones to the base unit and although I can't tell you how far they will reach I can tell you that I'm willing to bet it's a considerable distance based on our setup. These are really very well built and these are commercial or industrial grade so I have no doubt the range is exactly what they state.I've never been able to afford to purchase something this nice for our conference room, So I've never really been able to shop around for this type of system before. For me this has added incredible value to our meetings. At a current price of around $530 I would consider that a major office purchase. I have seen other similar units range from $250 up to $750 so this lands about in the middle.

This unit worked well at our convention as we head 6 speakers at the same time. And it was exactly what we needed with great sound and connectivity. I highly recommended.

Alright I have used many Phenyx Pro products and this one is pretty unique! I like the quality alot of this unit and the mics! The battery life is surprisingly long on the mics, but I have converted half of them to be powered from being plugged in to an outlet(less batteries to worry about). I really like the physical quality of the microphones. The base is likely a bit fragile if dropped, but it's not like these are performance mics. The light indication on the microphone comes in really handy to confirm it's powered on and if it's live or muted. The receiver is like other Phenyx Pro receivers, and it's a good thing. If you're not familiar with their products, you're missing out. The auto scanning for frequency is by far my favorite feature of their units. It also works really well. I have personally tested it with separate frequency scanners.Pros:Decent sound quality!Really good range!No interference!Sounds of the mic do not get picked up through it like their lapel mics!Autoscanning!!!Integrated real easy with the right convertion equipment to a PC!Really great feedback filtering!Cons:You will want a mixer for optimal sound quality and dialing. Out of the box is fine, but needs external EQs.Base is a tad fragile.Fairly pricy unit, but very worth it!The mic is very directional and you have to be within inches for the mic to pickup good signals unless you want to crank your speakers at the risk of feedback.Conclusion: I would recommend this unit for your conference setting needs! The metal chassis is worth pointing out because cheaper systems use plastic enclosures that trap heat over long runs. This one handles extended use better because of it.Audio is clear and voices come through without the hollow processed quality you hear from lower-end wireless systems. The one thing I noticed is that in environments with a lot of competing wireless signals the performance gets a little inconsistent. Higher-end professional systems have more sophisticated frequency management to deal with that.
