The sound on this is fantastic for a dynamic mic, I use a converter to plug it into my phone for voice notes so I can record little song ideas while I'm out jamming somewhere and it's fantastic for that. It's plug and play like any mic, and the power button is a really convenient way of muting/unmuting if you're on a call, which I've only used this for a couple times but still, convenient. But it works with my phone and computer both with no problem as long as I use the right cables, the only hitch is if I try to use a direct XLR-to-USBC cable my phone thinks it's a pair of headphones and it doesn't work, but if I use an XLR cable with a USBC converter (or my wireless transmitters ALSO from Phenyx), it's fine, so *shrug*.
I will say that these guys do not disappoint! We have been using the wireless mics for a while now and have loved them but we were using other brands for wired purposes such as talkback. Using the PhenyxPro wired mic you get professional quality sound at a great price And we couldn’t be happier!! That you for yet again another stellar product.The construction of the mic is solid (not cheap feeling) and the switch on this is also robust and not loose like some others. The capsule comes with a pop filter on the inside of the cage to eliminate some of the harsh dictation without impeding sound. This also comes with a leather pouch carrying case, mic clip and an xlr cable. You will not be disappointed in this purchase
Really solid microphone for the price. The all-metal housing gives it a nice weight and durability and it feels sturdy in hand and not cheap or plasticky like some other budget mics. The on/ff switch was easy to flip but not something you would flip by accident.Sound quality is clear and balanced. It does a nice job focusing on your voice while cutting down some background noise, which is great for streaming or live use.Another big plus is that it comes with a 5m XLR cable, along with a clip and pouch, so you’re basically ready to plug in and go without buying extras. First of All ... Shipping was Quick , the Packaging was Very Good, almost Overkill. I Purchased another PM-26S/PTU-X Combo ...I am a repeat buyer because of the sound Quality this Duo punches out. Clean, Crisp Vocals with the NO HASSLE set is Just Fantastic ! I have Other (more expensive) Brand Name Combos I use along with my Phenyx Pro Rigs in my Karaoke shows . My singers really enjoy the Phenyx Product and I even get comments on the Great Sound & Clarity .
My Phenyx Pro Combos can go Toe to Toe with the More expensive product & no one can tell the Difference . Karaoke is tough on Equipment & this stuff can take it ! In my Opinion , this is the Perfect Product for my Business. Price Point , Tough & Reliable and the Sound and Performace are top Notch . I rate this Product for my Usage @ FIVE STARS
I got this for my dad since he makes music, and he was over the moon about it! He went on and on about how clear the sound is, the quality of the sound, and how much it picks up without any issues. He says it picks up vocals without that weird static that cheaper mics get, and it has some special thing that helps isolate his voice from background noise. The build feels sturdy, the mesh top isn’t flimsy, and honestly the whole thing looks and sounds like something way more expensive. He uses it constantly now and loves it!
