Got the PDP-2-2B few weeks ago and I'm pretty impressed with its capability. I got a birthday party event coming this weekend and I'm gonna end up using this.Love how very easy setup it is. 2 channel mic sent to a single receiver 1/4 inch jack. Sounded pretty nice in our sanctuary, recording on the phone video didn't do justice to it.Thanks Phenyx Pro for making quality & easy to use gear. Makes setup simpler with everything else a tech guy needs to setup.

I had the opportunity to use the Phenyx Pro PDP-2-2B Dual Digital Wireless Microphone System at two wedding receptions, and it delivered flawless performance both times. If you're looking for a dependable wireless mic system for live vocals, this is a serious contender, especially considering its price point.We used the system with headworn microphones and bodypack transmitters for live lead vocals during a featured song at each wedding. The sound was clear, stable, and strong, with no dropouts, hiss, or interference; exactly what you hope for in a live setting.At one wedding, we had nine other Phenyx Pro wireless mics running alongside this one. At the other, the venue was already using a Shure wireless system. Despite all that RF activity, the PDP-2-2B held its ground, no crosstalk, no glitches, no issues whatsoever.One of the bodypacks was around 40 feet from the receiver at one point, and we never experienced any degradation in signal. The system operates in the 902–928 MHz band, which helped it stay isolated from the crowded UHF spectrum. Best of all, setup was instant and it just worked right out of the box with no need for channel scanning or tweaking.Both events used different mixers. The second had only a basic 3-band EQ, and the system still sounded great with minimal processing. The headworn mics provided excellent vocal clarity, presence, and noise rejection, even in noisy reception environments.The receiver and bodypacks feel well-built and professional. Setup was straightforward, and, while we didn't really use them long enough to test it, battery life didn't seem like it would be a concern for the length of our sets.Wish List for Future VersionsIf there’s one feature I’d love to see added, it would be independent channel outputs or at least a balance knob. Currently, both channels share a single mixed output, which limits flexibility when running into a mixer. A dual-output option (even via a simple aux cable) would be a great upgrade for more precis.

I received the Phenyx Pro PDP-2-2B and was very glad to see how well packaged the product was the packaging looked very professional and each transmitter and the receiver was individually wrapped it also came with a couple all metal adapters for your different applications. Now to get to the good stuff the units themselves are metal in construction and feel like they will hold up for a long time. Sound Quality was great I will say the lavalier mic was considerably louder than the headset mic but both was clear and had quality sound also a plus is you can change channels on the transmitters on the fly with no lag whatsoever if you happen to run into some sort of interference but I have not had any as of yet. The only suggestion I would have is it would be nice if you could adjust the volume to each body pack separately with that added feature this would take a product that is top tier and push it over the top.

Signal range is good, and sound clear, no noise. Mic dynamic range could be wider, as with most small headgear types of mics, and has a limited EQ range that is good, but these mics are clear at least. The headsets fit well, and hang on easily and comfortably. Plugs and cables are all decent quality, except that I really wish the headset cable was just another foot longer, go give a bit more flex on where to put it. It's too short, and can only go on the waist. Like the readouts, they work well, and integrate easily into the sound system. Fairly pro unit for a better price.

I purchased and tested out the Phenyx Pro Dual Digital Wireless Microphone System -PDP-2-2B. It is a great value for an entry level purchase to integrate into a basic system. The lavalier packs are of a good build quality. They are durable and not made cheaply with plastic material. The headset mic is comfortable to wear and great for use when presenting or speaking to a crowd or group.You will need to charge up both the lavalier packs and receiver prior to use to ensure recommended use. According to the Operation Manual you should be able use for at least 5 hours of continuous use or operation when properly charged using the included USB A to USB C Cable.The ease of setup was straight forward. Just plug into an available TRS or TS jacks (also known as 1/4-inch jacks) for unbalanced signal on a mixer or directly into a powered speaker.As for as functionality of the Phenyx Pro Dual Digital Wireless Microphone System -PDP-2-2B is good. The system has a great range in a given meeting space or an event building. I plugged Phenyx Pro Dual Digital Wireless Microphone System -PDP-2-2B into a Presonus Studiolive AR8c mixer to test out the functionality of the system. I adjusted my levels to maximize the sound levels to be clearly heard in the meeting space. I did have to be aware of feedback when utilizing the Phenyx Pro Dual Digital Wireless Microphone System -PDP-2-2B Headset Lavalier Mic. I had to raise individual channel to 50% as well as the individual gain to at least 75% to get some kind of audio output from the Lavalier MIc. The overall level of the mixer was already at 50%. The TRS or TS jacks (also known as 1/4-inch jacks) Receiver lacked the output to get a good reproduction in my opinion. I would recommend utilizing and purchasing a1/4 to XLR Adapter to get a balanced signal and sound. This type of adapter should have been included or offered in this Phenyx Pro Dual Digital Wireless Microphone System - PDP-2-2B System. In my opinion using the 1/4 to XLR Adaptor.

This Pheonix Pro set is AWESOME! It comes with a portable mini receiver that I hooked up to the building's system with a 3-pin XLR male 6.35mm to 1/4-inch TRS Female microphone audio converter (also purchased through Phenyx pro). This meant I could skip using a mixer. The Phoenix receiver has 2x15 UHF frequencies and 2 bodypack transmitters that plug into 2 headset (or lapel) mini-microphones and allows both to be used at the same time for having 2 speakers address the group at once.The Phoenix Pro set worked seamlessly as soon as I got it connected to the old system, and the leaders are soooo excited! We can use the volume knob on the back wall of the room, if need be, for adjusting the levels of sound if a greater or lesser degree is desired. However, the Phoenix microphones were coming across perfectly at the current, preset volume level. The sound of these microphones is amazing; they are clear-articulate and smooth-no static noise, and did I mention it's delivered "CORDLESS"! This is such a better way to conduct our meetings, I highly recommend it for others struggling with microphone cords. Thank you, Phenyx pro and the Phenyx Pro Store for bringing us a better way for sharing information in group settings. This Phenyx Pro dual digital wireless microphone system is a wonderful and efficient set up, I only wish we'd found this system even sooner!

Amazing quality as usual! This is my 9th Phenyx Pro product and as with every other product of theirs I've gotten, it's high quality build with great sound quality. Both body packs are not only a metal shell. But are also rechargeable with a supplied dual USB c cable to charge both packs at once. Plus as an added bonus. Not only do you get 2 lav mics. You also get 2 headset mics as well. Great for presentations and other potentially louder events. If you're looking for a awesome compact wireless body pack mic system, look no further.

Our nonprofit has been been using a Phenyx Pro beltpack for over a year at our local monthly public programs. (We got it as part of their hybrid kit - one handheld / one beltpack). Recently our parent body decided it needed some beltpacks for our quarterly statewide gatherings, so we ordered a pair of these familiar proven units.FEATURES- They have good range. (Unlike some others we've tried.)- Much better construction - Superior physical design, and they are heavy. That doesn't automatically equate to better functionality, but it shows that some extra care went into creating them. The mostly metal cases should provide better shielding.- Instructions specify to position the receiver antenna vertically - Probably true always, but Phenyx Pro is the only maker I've seen that bothers to tell you. They even supply a right-angle adapter to make sure that you can do it.- Min-XLR connectors - They cost more than phone plugs, and they imply better noise immunity.- Triple charger cable - A minor but helpful improvement over our previous set.

Works way better than expected, it has true range. I love the fact that each piece is powered and is rechargeable, no battery replacements. The lapel mic seems just slightly clearer than the headset mic but both sound just fine. It is very user friendly and easy to set up, it took less than 2 minutes to get up and running. It even comes with a couple adapters that immediately became useful as the 90° adapter works perfect coming out of the mixer. I would definitely recommend this product to someone looking for an affordable solution. Phenyx Pro is really coming in strong with their affordable products!

Works very well, sound quality is great as well as range. I did need an extension jack to clear my pa speaker housing but otherwise very happy with the quality, options and range for the price! Highly recommended!

Best thing for a cheap price

Clear sound, easy to install. The headband doesn't hurt. Use it in church for a 45mins aprox with no interference or any sound.
