I bought the Phenyx Pro microphone set with 4 headphones/lapels for my kids school music teacher. The box showed the headset/lapels as an accessory to add but they were actually in the box. The shop took a few days to respond but was nice when they did respond. The set seems nice.

Overall, this is great quad mic product. It is well built. the antenna system pick up phenomenally. I tested it thru a wooden door. Down a flight of stairs that were solid stucco and not a drop out or barely a hint of interference. The headset mic picks up great when dialed in correctly. no feedback. The lav mic requires more gain, but in doing so will pic up everything. the hum from my ac and fan and everything around me. So the lav mic is a bit more "ultra sensitive". I would call that a plus and a minus. I would like to see the bnc cable and bulk heads included in the box to be able to route the antennas to the front when rack mounting. After all, you included the rack ears but what's the point if I have to spend more to move my antennas? The transmitters body packs were auto-synced to each of the 4 channels. However, the body packs were not labled. so you had to power them on to know when channel you had by the frequency that it was on. I think spending a little money to label the transmitter wouldn't hurt. Other that that. this was a phenomenal unit. I definitely recommend for speaking engagements, small bar bands, etc. Great product.

I recently got to test out the PTU-5200 recently at two different events, and let me tell you, it works like a champ!INITIAL THOUGHTS: the packaging is well presented and has everything you need to get up and running, including batteries, cables, and even rack mounting brackets. I was able to use the box as a carrying case for both events, and it held up well. This is not a long-term solution, but it got the job done for what I needed.EVENT ONE: this was a live-to-tape podcast at a local high school for their student film festival. We used three of the four belt packs, which found the right frequencies quickly. We used one headset and two lavs in close quarters, and everything stayed clean with no feedback issues. The belt clips and the clips for the lavs held up very well!EVENT TWO: we did a live podcast at our local minor league ballpark, using three belt packs, all with headsets again in close quarters. We all had things working perfectly and the headsets looked very professional. The signals were still clean with no overlay or feedback.If there is one thing I would have to critique on a constructional level, it would be for the manual to be more detailed when trying to find the right frequency. There is no button on the receiver like other models, but the manual makes it seem like there is. It DOES find it and match to the belt pack on its own, and that clarity would help.OVERALL: Phenyx Pro continues to kill the game with each and every release they put out there. If you are looking to do any live music vocal, you may want to upgrade the headset, but for any work you are doing on a speaking level, this is a GREAT value for the price point. Check it out!

Thanks to Phenyx Pro, I had an opportunity to test drive the PTU-5200, and I must say that it is an awesome piece of machinery. The lapel mic has a great sound, and the clarity of the headset mic was very impressive. The display screen is nice and bright. The only drawback was the more active I got, the flex-arm on the headset would slip out of position. It just needs to be a bit more sturdy. Overall, I would totally recommend getting this system. (((WAY TO GO))) Phenyx Pro!!!

Pretty good build materials on the receiver. The transmitter isn't as solid but I think it won't break with a single regular drop. I was able to go over 75 ft with no drop out or signal loss. Came with 4 different headset mics and lapel mics which can be used all at once with multiple channels for each one. Its UHF so single is pretty good. I also ran it with other UHF devices and had no interference. This is a good system and a really good value.

As a worship leader and Christian Artist, I always seek solid equipment that works well.As a voiceover artist, I look for a great mic or headset that has low noise. I was not disappointed at all.If you are looking to build your equipment rack, I would suggest this product.Easy set up. You can run one channel for all and able to control with volume nobs on the front if you are short channel capacity. I choose to utilize the 4 ch xlr hook up even though a flat eq works great. Alot of headset/lapels need a way different EQ, these come out of the box ready to go with little mixing needed.Phenyx equipment is a great investment for any artist or performer.They have great customer service and courteous support for questions

This system works better than I anticipated. No interference, our first time using them in a live rehearsal. Can't wait to use them on stage. They fit well, and the headsets have a great low end on the voice. Sounds full, with little EQ balancing. Great product! Highly recommend!

I’ve been in the audio world for over 27 years, and in my time I have been very adamant about the microphones and the quality that I use. I gave these Phoenix pros a try and they held up just like my other brand did. They didn’t breach as far without the antenna system on the RF frequencies, but the antenna system paired with this made everything so much better. I will use these for all of our events going forward

Driver should ring the door bell, instead of just leaving the product on the pouch in the rain. However I love the product!!

Used it for the first time at a show last night and we are thrilled with the quality. Great range, excellent clarity. And customer service went above and beyond when we discovered that one of the body packs wasn’t working last week. Immediately shipped out a new one. Highly recommended.

With this microphone set you get great quality. The clarity is crisp and pristine. You definitely get a great value for your money. It's very easy to use. The battery life lasts for quite some time.

I recently purchased one - I had a chance to use this on for a large community talent show, and then with my band for a show. They worked great and simplified the operation so much. The set of wireless mics were easy to manage and switch with users as we moved through the different acts of the show. I also used it with a show for my band. For both shows, the sound reproduction was great - got a lot of gain before feedback, and it doesn't color the sound at all.Short answer - I will be using these pretty consistently going forward.The one thing I would like to see - which isn't any kind of defect - but would just make it a little easier, would be to provide mic holders to fit these. We have to use the spring clamp holders - which can be a little too loose for comfort sometimes.

The audio quality for these wireless microphones is good, full stop. I would have no issue using these for a production or live event. Within a reasonable distance of the RX, these mics just work with no dropouts.I have to complain, at least a little, about the amount of plastic "quality" on this system, however. The buttons wobble, the knobs aren't all straight, the RX feels hollow and all the weight in the packs is the AA batteries. The lav mics are fine, if a bit low on the output levels whereas the headset mics felt as though they picked up every noise and breath. I am unfairly comparing this system to professional Sony and Sennheiser systems that I've used in the past, but my expectations are what they are.This is one of those "for the money" it is a good purchase reviews. Would I substitute this for a more professional system if I had access to it? No, I would not, as the pro systems are built like tanks and stand up to abuse. This system, if treated kindly and managed carefully, it will work for smaller productions just fine.

This wireless system works great! I love that it comes with everything, even batteries for the transmitters. Has a nice, clean sound.Like I have read in a couple of other reviews, I do feel you have to be a bit careful when opening the battery compartment on the transmitters, but as long as you are mindful and don't do it in a rush, it should not be an issue.I was under the impression that the rack ears for the reciever were sold separately and not included, but I was pleasantly surprised as I was looking for the batteries that they were hidden by a packet laying on top of them that contained the rack ears. Don't know if I just lucked out, if they include them now or if they've always been included and something just lead me to believe they weren't. Either way, I'm happy I can put this in my rack right away without ordering the rack kit.Very happy with this system
