Works great, perfect for things like karaoke or live music in small to medium sized venues. Has a hot signal, which in my opinion is better than a weak signal. For the price you really can't beat it. I would recommend it for a solid microphone for everyday use. Also comes with some convenient accessories. 5 stars.

This 4 mic UHF system is fantastic. Setup was a breeze and the flexibility of mixing the mics to either one or four channels comes in handy for different situations. The sound quality is crystal clear and the handhelds are solid. The included accessories like the anti-roll rings and foam covers are thoughtful additions. Definitely a worthwhile investment at a great price.

I just got the PTU-5200 4 Handheld System. I'm very impressed with the build!The mics feel very well assembled, and the screen is very easy read! The frequency change i really like, unlike other models the mic and receiver both change at the same time, so no need to try and sync the two units together and find the infared sensor like other models Ive used. The mics are really easy to use , volume and frequency control are both under the battery cover. I used these around 75-90 ft away and had 0 dropouts. I would definitely recommend these for use at church, Karaoke, etc. I would definitely say at the price point these are unbeatable!!!

It includes four transmitters with each including 25 channels which helps finding a clear channel without interference.The build quality of the transmitters feels sturdy as the transmitters are metal. I especially liked that the battery power level was clearly displayed on the microphone. The microphones sound great for vocals and did not have a lot of handling noise, the package also includes four windscreens.Selecting frequencies was easy on the microphone and the receiver automatically syncs once you change the channel. The audio level is also clearly displayed on the receiver when a signal is coming in, which is great to know if signal is present.This is not a true Diversity system with two antennas per microphone, which is the standard on more expensive and top professional microphones. This system is also a fraction of the cost so that feature is not expected at this price point. This system didn't have dropouts when testing within the 200ft range.All in all The Phenyx Pro PTU-5200 microphone system is everything you expect from a great microphone system without a huge price tag. I would not hesitate to recommend the PTU-5200 to anyone looking for an affordable wireless microphone system. A+ Highly Recommended.

From the packaging into the included accessories and batteries these mics are a class act. I’m a full time working musician that’s gigging on an average of 5 times a week. I got the chance to use these new mics twice this weekend and I’m blown away. They work perfect out of the box and allow 25 different frequency choices if needed. They are rugged and have a great feel. They sounds crisp and clean and they are a great representation of the voice. I also love that the digital screen on each microphone shows which one of the 4 units it is ABC or D and it shows a real time channel and battery level indicator. These mics should cost 4 times what they are priced at. I highly approve!

I got my PTU-5200 in and used it at two different events this past weekend (a live podcast broadcast at a local film festival and at Dallas Comic Show in the center of a mall for Q&A sessions with the show's guests). Here are my thoughts:I was impressed with the sound clarity. There was a bit of dialing the EQ in when I first fired them up, once I had the mix right, they sounded great. The setup was also very easy.One of my biggest issues with wireless handheld mics these days is the use of lighter materials that makes the mics feel cheap. The fact that Phenyx Pro uses metal for the ones I own is a very good thing. It gives that extra professional impression to guests using them.These are the first ones I own from Phenyx Pro that have mute buttons on them. This was especially helpful on Saturday when the number of guests per session changed and I didn't have to leave the stage to mute the channels on the board for the unused mics.This may be a little thing, but the fact that this set came with windscreens was a nice bonus. Sometimes, those little touches make all the difference, especially when things like these can be forgotten when preparing for use, saving a trip to Guitar Center or something of its ilk.If you are the type of person that needs to have everything in a rack, know that this unit does not come rack-mountable. I have setups done both ways, and in this case the PTU-5200 benefitted me because these were the only mics I needed for these events so I didn't have to bring the whole rack.This company keeps improving with every new unit they release. I have been impressed with their work (especially at the price point) with each and every item I have gotten for them and recommend them to everyone I work with. Keep up the great work!

I love the PTU 5200, the mics sound clean and clear. They're made of metal and feel very sturdy. I've gotten great battery life with them. Range is good. Base unit is made of plastic but doesn't feel cheap. Easy to use, plus the manual is written very well.The only thing that was hoping for was to be rack mountable. I contacted Phenyx Pro about being rack mountable and they said the system wasn't rack mountable. I had a couple of rack ears that fit the 5200 but it's a little short on the sides. So I decided to buy a single rack shelf and some really good Velcro. The video shows my process of racking the 5200, and a short review. Great inexpensive wireless mic system!! Phenyx Pro customer support rocks as well!!!

I’ve been looking at getting wireless gear for a while now. And I’m happy to have landed on phenyx pro. It looks and sound great. The head room you get from the microphone is better than expected. Everything was easy to set up.The only things I have to say that would make it better is this unit does not come with mic clips or rack ears. It looks like it has the same layout for the rack ears on other units they make so it is possible to rack it if you buy some rack ears.I also has a wall wort for the power supply. This is not the worst thing it is more of a preference for my when putting equipment in a portable rack.

Once again I was blown away by Phenyx Pro Wireless Mic system. The PTU-5200 four mic system is a great pick up for me. I have had the chance to use them at 2 events just to test them to see if they could perform according to the specs. I must say that it was spot on. If you are looking for a good system that is not pricey and that delivers as needed. I used all four mics for the event at the same time and they all performed well. The title says it all. Phenyx Pro’s product line has a solution for any customer. From a single mic to complex systems. The PTU-5200 4-Channel Wireless UHF system crosses off my checklist for ease of use, simplicity, reliability and cost. You get 4 nicely built transmitters. Changing the channel on the mics is a simple operation. On the back of the receiver, you have the option of XLR out of each channel to your board or a single 1/4”.I tested this out during an event an had no interference issues. The sound is pretty good but I did add some warmth from my mixer as I normally do.The only thing I’d add would be optional rack ears which I am going to try to find on the aftermarket.So bottomline, you’ll like these mics especially if you need more than a pair. If you need lavs, you can buy a few from the Phenyx Pro site. Great job once again Phenyx!

I used the PTU-5200 for the first time this weekend. Let me start off by saying that the mics are crystal clear. Frequency response was very clean with no noticeable tinniness or distortion. The mic status display has been improved with the enhanced battery level and mute indicator. I also have to commend Phenyx on the battery department redesign. Some prior designs made it difficult to remove battery, but this redesign has fixed that issue. Bravo! The reciever display is brighter and easy to read. Although I did not have the need to change mic frequencies, it's nice to know that you have 25 channel options. This will come in handy when interference issues arise. Channel changing is simple and works without issue. Regarding the range, I was in a room that was about 3000 Sq ft and I had no noticeable issues with drop out when about 100 ft from receiver. Simply put, you will not be disappointed with the PTU-5200.
